Default Redington CPS rod spare parts
Anyone know where i can get a replacement section for a 9 ft '6wt Redington CPS rod in the UK, i have just had a reply from Redington in the USA and they want a minimum US $65.00 for shipping the repaired rod back to the UK, I love this rod but am not prepared to be be ripped off by there shipping cost.

That is a very reasonablle Postage price from the USA. I know it looks a lot but check out UPS costs to take a rod to USA.
Try Guide fishing they are the Uk Dealers for Redington.

I have had rods in tubes 4'+ shipped USPS for US$26-30 (7-10 day service)

Friends of mine who have broken their CPS have sent them to Guide and had them replaced very quickly.

Your right Jim , i have just looked at parcel force rates cheapest was £34.99 28 days, have shipping prices gone through the roof lately as i cant remember paying these sort of prices a year ago when i was sending rods out to the States, i will definetely check out Guide.
