Question Cast holders

Evening All!

How do you go about storing your spare casts?
I have seen the plastic discs and the plastic wallets but think they look a bit naff!
Is there some fancy foam ones available or is an old bit of pipe foam insulation about the best about?
Iam sure some of the competition heads must have some clever ideas, any thoughts?

Cheers,
Baz.

Default Cast Holders

Bazil

I have those discs and yes they are naff , tend to leave the cast with some memory.
Iain has the Orvis ones and they seem like an improvement.

Cheers

Jim

Hi Baz,

Plumbers lagging is the norm I believe, however, I got one of these off ebay not so long ago, it has slots to hold leaders without causing any kinks or memory....

Little expensive, especially for a bit of hollow foam, but since I've used it, I think it was well worth it.

A friend of mine uses the Orvis ones and thinks they are great.
£20 for a box c/w 5? or 6? holders may appear steep but I think they are the best on the market. If you float tube then they are invaluable.

I hear what you are saying Mr J Grayling but if you are a tackle tart then B&Q isn't hip

But it is cool. From my perspective.
