rrw35 - whilst your first piece of advice to him was meant with a certain tongue in cheek it certainly wasn't the best of advice as he is now banned due to spamming the forum with posts just so he can get his post count up to create a new thread in Classifieds.

How would you have felt if he made a thread in Classifieds then sold some fishing equipment to someone but kept the money without sending the goods?

Whilst we are not saying that was his intention none of us want to see that happen and we have to be on our guard.

Indeed. I've had wind of a certain member being given a bottle of malt for reaching 5000 posts, most of which were drivel being some form of trite hello, happy birthday or goodbye.

Life just ain't fair.

Oh, hello and welcome to all new members for at least the coming decade, happy bithday to all who have one in any calendar year and goodbye to all the disillusioned and banned members from here to eternity. Now that must have saved several thousand posts.
