Yeah mate probably about normal. I will be making a real effort next year to travel light. I am narrowing my boxes down to two. Easier said than done!!

looks fairly normal to me!! why the forceps and pliers though?

is this one of those 'I'll show you mine if....'

inc. net and rod, exc. camera waders and food/drink can get all my gear in a 25ltr rucksack... more comfortable in a 30ltr though.

What type of fishing are we talking about? How many flies can one person use in a days fishing

I'd get rid of 90% of that on a trek.

Interestingly, even though my vest contents exceed those in the pic, I'd only just added some of that recently (in a ziplock plastic bag).

Also took out my hook sharpener - never used it for it's weight - just moved to another fly if hook is dulled/bent.

Isn't there a head torch in there?

No Buff?

No indicators?

Suntan gel? - no joke - I got a Keratosis on my cheekbone earlier this yr probably from exposure to reflected sunlight off the water.

Water pouch & tube - great way to hydrate - it goes in yr vest back pocket, the tube comes over yr shoulder - velcro's in the the rod stay or a D ring on yr chest - no need to stop for a drink when fishing hard.

My vest is so full I'm going to have to buy a bag.......
