Default weirdest catch?

My mate caught a dead perch - hooked in the mouth would you believe- and I've had -get this- an eel on a wet fly.
What's the weirdest catch you've ever had when fly fishing?

Hambo ,one of the long ago posters here fairly caught a cute ladies Jack russel on his back cast ,I had to remove the fly ,it was barbed and the loop of nylon and pressed down worked but dog had to be held firmly in the rather nice chest of the owner.
Hambo was a ladies man at the time and was not in the cute ladies good books !

Oh yes, forgot to mention, another one of my club mates fishing from the causeway was casting into Farmoor 1 and, because of his low back cast, hooked a trout behind him on Farmoor 2 on a black buzzer!

Canada goose while sea trout fishing at night on the Conwy. It was traveling up river under the bushes on the far bank and I must have hooked it in the foot. Thought I was into a cracker until everything started going airborne. Glad to say the fly came out seconds later, bird none the worse for its encounter

Andy, other accounts of this incident say that you made Hambo's chances of scoring with the Jack Russel's owner even worse by holding the terrier up after you removed the fly and saying, "That's a nice one, maybe 10 pounds. Hand us the priest, we've got our dinner!"

Any comments? Besides it tasted like chicken, I mean.

How about a swallow that took a fly in mid air as the angler was false casting? I saw that happen at Farmoor.

Had bats a few times night fishing for sea trout, really makes you jump in the dark when that lump of weed on your sunk lure starts to wriggle.... cute little fellers tho'

When I was 11 I caught my mate through the ear with a devon minnow, A couple of years later a herring gull whilst mackeral spinning on the pier at scarborough was probably the most aggressive catch. The most colourful was the condoms that used to festoon my line when beach fishing in a north easterly. On a good night there was at least a dozen,
