Can you tell me do you have to reach a standard first then you are accessed or is part of the course involved in getting you up to a standard?
What are the typical costs and timescale?

Graham, the route I went down was two fold, I have a level 2 CCA which a coaching qualification then I also did My GAIC (game angling instructors cert) which is a technical award. In basic terms the Level 2 says I know how to teach and the GAIC says I know what to teach.
If you are planning to work with the local authority, schools kids or vulnerable adults you will need to be licensed, licensing is provided through the Level 1 and 2 courses
Information on the Level 1 and 2 Can be found
here
Information on GAIC can be found
here
Costs are apprx £600 for Level 1 and 2 although you may be able to get funding from EA or local authority.
GAIC assessment is £175 plus any lessons you might want to take to get the casting really tight and be prepared to put a lot of hours in to study and practice..
If you need any more help or information give me call my number is on my website (link in signature).
