Default Information Wanted and apologies.

Gentlemen,

apologies I have already posted this in another topic, but have not got the answer yet.

I have searched the net also but to no avail.

I am trying to find out the opening times/days of Springwater Meadows near Lisburn. I have tried every number I can find on the net but no answer on any of them.

The reason I am trying to find out is I am desperate for a spot of fishing, but the wife has the car all week and I want somewhere within taxi dstance and don't want to waste my money on a taxi to find out its closed.

Thanks to previous reply but it just gave me a run down of the fishery.

TG

You could try asking on flyfishingireland.org , a few of the guys on there fish it and have left reports recently. They may know the opening times for you.

If you phone this place, they should tell you, this is a B&B next door to the fishery................................

If it has to be in the Lisburn area, why not try Brookhall Fishey? Same distance from town as Springwater

Brookhall fishery is open every day except Tues and Wed. I can recommend it and if you check their website they have weekly report. I was there on Sunday and despite the weather it was fishing really well, my other half had a 7lb 4 fish close to dark

Thanks for the replies, I was aware of Brookhall as have fished there before (great little fishery) I wanted to go before Thursday hence springwater, but after checking the weather .I think I will wait and go to Brookhall on Thursday and Springwater next Tuesday/Wednesday.

Once again thank you.
