I know a lot of people use Frog Hair, but im my experience it's very poor at knot strength and stated breaking strain. I use Fulling Mill Flouro which is a fraction of the price, and can tow ocean going liners.

The reason it is a fraction of the price is that it will not be 100% florocarbon, hence it will be cheaper and will reflect light

I think Phil Bailey can answer this as he is one of their guides

I have also had problems with the rbeaking strain of frogs hair. I found that i had it break off at the knot too many times and i just lost my faith in it. I really do not think it was my fault as i have tied the same knots for many years and never really had any problems before.

I now use fulling mill fluoro and have no problems whatsover with it. I am just about to try a prestretched line recommended to me by a pole fishing friend. Apaprently the breaking strain/diameter ratio is pretty amazing, will let you know how i find it.

It's not Prestons innovations Dan is it ?
This was reccomended to me earlier this season, by another coarse fishing expert on here.
I am so impressed with it, I won't/ daren't use anything else.

Chris
It says it is >> "No wonder this is the market leader and primary choice for fly fishers everywhere. 50m or 100m spools, guaranteed 100% clear fluorocarbon, specific density slightly higher than water helps it to sink where it becomes almost invisible."
