Default How Much Backing Do I Need?

It's for my Greys GRXi 7/8 reel (on my Grey's 6/7) 10 ft rod.
I'll be putting on WF 7 floating line and intermediate on another spool.
Backing is the Pirate's Dacron 30lb line.
Not sure how much to put on,as I've never done it before.
An help would be greatly appreciated.

Zak.
