What would be your top 5 Flies for the winter or flies you wouldn't leave home without mine would be the following;



1.White Fritz
2.Black and peacock.
3.Apps Bloodworm
4.Diawl Bach's
5.Black Buzzers.

Like it or not the Cat's whisker, must take the most fish throughout the Country,
But maybe thats because for most Lure Pullers it will be their first choice.

1. black tadpole slightly leaded
2. Diawl bach size 10s
3. Sweetcorn blob
4. Mini cats whisker
5. Small black hopper/black beetle

2, Pheasant tail nymph.
3, Snipe and Purple.
4, Partridge and Orange.
5, Greenwell Spider.

For rainbows it would be

Lime and white okey dokey
red and orange wolly worm
Lime and black zonker
white fritz scruff pattern type
tuftys

Mine are as follows,

No,1 Gold arsed white cat.
No,2 John Bucannons Pink Blob.
No,3 Crisp Packet Buzzer.
No,4 Diawl Bach.
No,5 Carron Bunny.


Thats for the Bows and the Browns.
