What are your thoughts on the OKUMA fly reels, they look and sound good value.

If this is not a great reel, what one would you advise to buy as im looking for a second reel.

I like them - low fuss effective and reliable.

I have the Airframe/Cascade plastic job and the pretty little Vashon machined alloy number - both are decent reels. Grouse swears by his SLVs.

get a greys GRXI come with 4 spools to store 4 lines the spools are inter-changeable so its easy to change from a floating to a sinking

stick with the okuma the greys grxi spools are rubbish.The spare spools are like cartriges not a full spool and a bit flimsey.
