Nice film Jeff, TC and I saw it at the cinema in Penrith.
I treated him, and he bought the ice creams.

Steven will be taking you to the flicks more often in that case Terry!

I didn't even realise it had hit the cinemas - much as it might be of interest to the likes of us, I suspect it wasn't exactly a packed house?

It doesn't take much to fill Penrith cinema jeff, with its TWO screens, yes I said two.
I think a full house is about 100, and it was about three quarters full.
Probably 50% of the anglers in the area were there.
I think TC came off worse with the Magnums, they cost more than the entrance fee.
I bought him a bag of gobstoppers as well.

Just one-off screenings, I think. You had to register on the website and when there were enough people in your region who wanted to see the film, they put it on for a night. My local performance will be the Alnwick show, which is on 24 January next year.

Hi' Yorkio, it was a very interesting show, and it couldn't be put on at a better place than Alnwick. I went once to see the museum and workshops, but arrived too late for the last conducted tour -- the film made up for that. TerryC

'Jaws' will probably reach us about 2020; we're still waiting for 'Stagecoach', starring that new American actor, John Wayne. TC
