Default Tweed Grayling!

Looking on some tips to catch some grayling on the tweed, what flies should i use,iv'e heard czech nymphs and PTN's work well but i want to here from someone who has actually caught one!

hi
any of the usual bugs, gold heads etc will work

the only problem is you cant get on to any of the association waters until the 1st of December

I've caught my only 2 Tweed grayling on a 2" black and orange tube flie.

All the usual methods work, PTN, shrimps, bugs and don't forget dry flies.

my father had 2.5 pounder at the dawyick stretch above bridge at botanical gardes teal and black clydestyle in fast shallow water 3 weeks ago clydestyles are ideal at this time of the year mind you there will be a lot of small fish but if you are patient these littly flies will succumb specimin fish
