Default Autumn tactics, Derbyshire

My friend and I get to go to Errwood about 3 times a year. More would be nice, but that's how it is. We tend never to go in Autumn, and so we're a bit stumped as to tactics and flies.
In fact, last time I went in Autumn, to Ladybower, I seem to remember one solitary trout on an intermediate gold ribbed hair's ear.

What's likely to be most productive, fly and line?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know the place but given the tie of year I'd say it's rainbows you're going after?
Intermediate, or Di3, Cat's Whisker or any other white lure, if there are fish in there and you cover them and they aren't hard fished for they'll take it, no question.

Thanks for that. I should have said, it is mainly Rainbows, but with a few Brownies.

I've also done a bit of Googling and come back with white muddler, minnow. I also came across someone saying a double bunny was good for bigger trout (though more a pike fly?).

Is it generally fry imitation, this time of year? Is that the reason for white? Also, someone mentioned daddies, but is it too late for those now? Haven't seen any in a few weeks now.
