Default Syon Park Closed again

SYON PARK FISHERY

DREDGING WORKS FROM 7th OCTOBER

Due to dredging works fishing will be severely disrupted from Wednesday 7th October. These works involve heavy plant machinery and will hopefully last for 3 days only, but may be as long as one week.

Whilst we will attempt to remain open for fishing as normal, fishing will be unavoidably disrupted and is probably best avoided during this period.

They just reopened after being closed for 8 weeks, why they did not do this while it was drained down is a mystery.

One unhappy season ticket holder.

Albury have been doing odd things of late-imho.Why they ever amalgamated the small pool into the larger one at Vale End is a mystery-there is absolutly no depth to any of it.The small pool at Weston was re-dug/shaped some time ago and the browns removed and rainbows put in!!!!!.
Fished Syon today, very hard due to the wind but managed three to 6lb,all from the bottom end.

Although it's pretty, I find Syon the epitome of overpriced "puddle plugger" venues - 42 quid for four fish and no C&R - they're taking the p1ss.

Default Well done chub1

Hi
I've blanked altogether lately, the fish seem to be around the water inlet bottom end and have been since the refill. I think it will take months after this to get anywhere near normal.
