Default First ever double figure fish

Hi all i went to forbs of kingennie today and managed to set a new pb 10lb 3oz still on cloud nine what a fight it put up that place is heaven on earth even if it is as some people would say stockie bashing


ps i'll try and post some photos later

Well done Bobz,I know how you must be feeling as that first double you never forget.
I can still remember mine,was on a catch and release ticket and was so excited knocked it on the head and then realised I had to pay for it.
Spent the rest of the day going round resteraunts and hotels trying to flog it as the x wife would have hit the roof as she moaned enough about me fishing as it was.
Thankfully she is now paid off.

Well done again to you my man.

Congrats...

Having caught a double myself, though it was over 10 years ago and nothing above 6lb since. (I did have a large enforced gap in my fishing, don't want you thinking i'm **** lol). I can still play that fish in my mind today, great feeling, cherish it!

Well done! Bet yer little heart was in yer mouth eh? It was 15 years before I netted a double... shaking like a sh!tting dog I was. Lucky it was last cast - last light... don't think I coulda fished anymore anyway

Well done that,s an achievement that you will never forget.


I did the same it was 13.75lbs and cost me around £2/lb
Was worth every penny and I must have taken 20 photos of it. Strangely it was the best tasting bow I ever cooked and I was cooking steaks for quiet a few weeks.

thanks guys it was amazin. yeah i was glad to see the net go under her that is until it snaped trying to lift her out(net was over extended)but i will be back over the next week or 2. as for photos i'll need to have a word with the mrs as am useless with things like that.
