Default Sharpley Springs

Anyone been to Sharpley Springs?
They don't seem to answer telephone numbers provided!
I am only enquiring about common flies used plus cost etc.
Hope someone can help
Cheers

I went there in February.

Cost was £9 for 4 hours C&R.

Buzzers were the order of the day then.

see here for reviews:

For what it's worth, I didn't like it but lots seem to.

Hope you enjoy it.

Cheers

Don

I suggest you give it a go peter, and make your own mind up!
last time i was there it was £14 full day sporting,£11 long half day sporting(12 till dark)
its usually a good dry fly venue, with shipmans and cdc a safe bet,and all the usual nymphs and buzzers.
As for it being a stockie bashers paradise, ive not seen any evidence of this, that said
im sure it does go on,but no more than any other stocked venue!

Hi Pete. I've sent you a PM.

You won't be able to PM back until your post count is higher - 15 I think.

Where abouts are you located?

Don

I've fished this place a lot, last time I was there was £18 for 3 fish ticket, they usually open between 7 and 7.30am and you can fish till dusk.

The lakes are usually stocked Fridays, well they have every time I've been Friday.

Will find a lot of people pulling lures but lakes also repsond well to buzzers, GRHE etc. The lake in the top right hand corner is kill only and the lake on the top left is nymph only.

Always seems to be windy there due to it being so close to the coast.
