Hello all been trying to tie some czech nymphs using UTC Ultra thread that i bought as it was advertised as strong & it's been breaking.Can someone recommend a thread type to use . Cheers

Which one are you using. 6/0 or 8/0?

I use both and yes, the lighter one is pants. Most lighter ones are though

moser power silk,not to cheap but strong,not cheap at around £3 odd a spool , but this is as good

Just bought some powersilk from O'Reillys that's another £50 away some of his prices look ok especially his hooks .Cheers
