Just had a chat with a neighbour about a mutual friend out walking with his dad and dog last Sunday (20th Sept) on the footpath adjacent to the Bradford No1 stretch at Addingham.
Man in waders fishing mid river shouts at my friend to stop throwing stones at him. My friend replied he wasnt and hadnt thrown any stones, but had thrown a stick for his dog, NOT in the river. Man in river proceeds to rant and rave and started coming over to my friend, who was by this time making his way back to his car. Not sure of details from there, however, my friend has reported being stabbed in the leg to the police. A trip to Airedale hospital for stiches to the wound and a teternus injection. Police are investigating.
I will try get more info if anyone is interested.

The bailiff at a water i fish caught 3 poachers, told them to **** off or pay up and they pulled a blade on him, the police took 3 hrs to show up
