I used a TXL 7ft 10" #4 on Dever springs a few months back, now that's what I call fun!

redington redfly 2 10 ft 7#

got to use it on saturday and was more than capable to handle rainbows to 6 lb not a bother

Hardy demon 9'6" in a 6 weight or a 7 weight depending on the wind. I use the same rods for boat fishing and have a full range of lines for both rods
