Baby dolls will still catch fish, its just an old style fly but has been brought out occassionally and done the business.
Theres new modern materials for tying fry imitations nowadays with addad flash and sparkle which is more appealling to fish. ck

Try a floating fry pattern or a Zonker, or any lure with some white in, fished in a medium jerky retrieve - sometimes a fast overhand retrieve can induce a take.

Last October on our C&R fishery I had some excellent results using an old American streamer pattern called a Black Ghost (it has a white wing). It's an excellent fry pattern and is well worth a try.

If you're fishing from the boats, try a bloodworm up the top end casting towards the bale of straw. Park your boat of the weed bed and fish along it with a damsel. If the fish are rising try a black hopper.
Black buzzers, crunchers and pheasant tails [orange thorax] will all work.
