Default stocked fisherie pronblem

hi all

on saturday il be heading to my local stocked trout lake, corkagh park.. but the fish in this lake are wise to everything at this stage..they mostly get takin on buzzers and nymphs but the times ive tried buzzer/nymph its been useless and nearly pathetic in my eyes..the fish are so wide to the flies at this stage but sometimes you get a rouge fish that will take any dry u put up...anyway im interested in buzzer fishing if the dries dont go down to well so any advice to trick this wary fish would be great

thank you!

only after realising the typo in the heading can i change this

Try dropping down a fly size, or change the colour. However possibly your best bet is to check out the returns book and then see what has been the most successful fly, using something a little different to the norm often triggers a response.

In some cases you might have to alter the depth of the flies or even just slow down or speed up the retrieve. Trial and error is the key.

Buzzer fishing should be excellent at the back-end of the season, as for dries try daddies and size 18 CDC's.

Have you tried some dry Daddies or Grasshoppers?

Default re probs,

if your game, try using the finest tippet you can get away with (be sensible tho) and a single fly, as said before a smaller pattern than usual. i think fish in these waters get used to teams of flies moving uniformly through the
water. single and possibly static would be my first choice
tight lines
