Default Old floatants

I have been given some gear from a tackle shop that was part of a Trout farm / fishery and in the bag were some bottles of floatant , 3 types

Do any of the older members of the forum ( and I'm 61 before anyone pipes up) know how to use them and if they are any good.

1 Mucilin Dry Fly - this is a Gel
2 Mucilin Dry Fly Silicone - this is a clear liquid
3 Supafloat - this is a liquid devised by Richard Walker and there is a warning on the bottle about inhaling the vapours.

These are not for my own use but for my FDG branch raffle, I only use Gink.

3 Supafloat

put your dry fly in liquid for a few seconds (submerge full fly) then do a few false casts to dry fly (after removing from bottle )
i like using this for daddies
p.s i'm only 34

Smile Hardy Cerolene

Hi!

I have an almost full( Blue) tin of Hardy Cerolene.
I've seen red ones on the Ebay.

Do you know if it is any difference between the red and the blue tin?

best regards/Anders
