fish at mickle trafford today and it seemed slow but towards the end i could see why

the fish had congregated at one spot and were going absoloutely daft. one passer by actually thought that it was bubbles coming from an aerator.

the only time ive seen this is when the sky was getting clammy sort of the moments before thunder and lightning strike.

however today it was between overcast and sunshine.

is this mating or are have they just found a safe spot ? and sticking to it

Stating the obvious, but were they feeding on a localised hatch?

they seem to be doing this regular at meadow at the moment and they are feeding on a hatch if you put a fly through them you are guaranteed a tussle make the most of it
