Default Orvis sale

THis months copy of FF&FT has a big ad for the Orvis "end of season tackle sale", promising 50% off rods, reels etc but I can't find any mention of it on their website.
Is it a sh*t trick to get you to their website, are they late getting it online or am I missing something?

As long as there is one item, probably a tie pin or mug on sale for half price, under the trades description act, they are allowed to festoon the whole shop with 50% off posters. And advertise in the press and it is not considered misleading.

Just as a PSA, the Orvis.com site has some pretty good sales running. Proguide 3 waders for $249 (from $349). Tailwaters and other waders are also on sale.

A sweet rod. I think Orvis do pretty well with the sales lark.
Some good savings to be had IMO.
