Guys are there any float lines that are best for river and lake? i want a good all round float line thats easy to cast that i can use on both waters.

paul ,pm pitsford pirate on here ,he will tell you all you need to know and further more his lines are cheap as chips ,and they are not rubbish paul,hundreds on here have lines from him ,have a look in trade classifieds now and you will see "pirates fly line bonanza" 5th post down ,theres hundreds will back me up on this paul ..

Thanks Bruce, just sent im one there now. i have a fulling Mills Gold 7 weight rod so hopefully he can advise me on what line to use for a rookie like me lol.

your welcome mate ,for the price of a normal shop bought line ,you may get 2 or 3 from the pirate to cover all you will need ...

hehe yea i was just thinking that while reading his post in the adds area.

My local tacke shop was looking to sell me "444" float line for £49.99! im buying new tackle from Malarkey's website as they seem to have everything i need and what looks like decent prices, saving over £100 so far with my shopping list

I keep trying to PM pitsford pirate but i dont think its sending it.. theres no copy of the sent mail in my "sent" box.. hopefully he will read this thread!
