new water for me

Just been looking at my ff&ft mag and i am very intrested in fishing ingbirchwirth lake the article by Charles Jardine looks a nice place,anybody fished it?If so could you please let me know how accessible it is as i am not great on the old pins and also what would it be like for a beginner ie trees on the backcast etc as i am thinking of taking my son.Thank you
