Wifes still in bed, I'm fishing, and I'm back in the house by 1pm....
after a 6am start......

Got the fishing 'fix' out of the way, and back home, with bags of time to top up those 'Brownie Points!'

Honestly, Its great Stuart, as Bruce said, no-one about, the odd bird making a noise, misty mornings, gentle sound of water.... Great mate!!!

Then theres that split second moment when the braided loop 'stops', you lift, and you get warmed up very quickly....

Totally worth it!

Have not had many frosty mornings down south the last couple of years.
I do really love them when it happens,that crunch of iced vegataion beneath the feet,and the grayling so seem to be active on those days,is it atmospheric pressure or the better light on those little cloud days.

the crunching of grass, the crack of a small frozen puddle ,and the exhale of breath that turns instantly to a small light cloud of steam ,and the "oh s**t" remark as you slip on the above puddle which instantly sends the blood rushing around with a pounding of the heart that keeps you warm .... cant wait.........
