Default The Answer

In the time i have looked at this forum prior to becoming a member and whilst in the short time i have been a member a recurring theme comes up and gets in some cases quited heated. River V Stillwater. Whilst reading an article in this months FF&FT by Peter Lapsley(IMO one of the best contributors) i believe he best sums up the answer to the question "it is for each of us to decide what we want from our fishing" so critisicm for different forms of the sport should really not be an issue and really shouldn't be discussed unless people want to be provocative and just wind up other members. I also believe that this also sums up why this type of forum for like minded people should and in most cases is a sharing/educational and entertaining eye for our sport. This also maybe the answer to a previous thread as to why people believe that the magazines are getting it wrong and forums like this are the way forward or is it down to the fact that forums have the ability for rapid interactivity.

Most of the threads about rivers v stillwaters are actually pretty light hearted and a bit of banter between members.... There's very rarely any malice.

I would not read to much in to it to be honest, you will most probablly find that the worst the weather, the more heated the discusions get.

Put it down to boredom, dout if much is meant by it

So stop winging and get out fishing

All the best TK.........
