Default Lake District Fishing?

Evening all

I'm staying in Grasmere for a week, starting this Friday. Can any one recommend any decent local fishing, river or reservoir? If there's any wee wild brownie water that would be great.

All best
Mal

Hi Mal, TC's your best bet, walking encyclopedia.
Send him a PM, he will be glad to help.
Cheers S.

Mal,

I rate Hayeswater highly - available on a WADAA ticket for about 8 quid. Better than average brownies for the Lakes.....although maybe not as 'better than average' than you're used to
