Default Hard times.

After the 4 week glutt of heather flies.the brownies seem to be hard to catch.anybody else noticed this.

Fished for a few hours today on a hill loch that has been very good recently, never seen a fish, no fly life at all, very cold!

caught and released this Salmon yesterday.

Nice fish about 5lb's.very fresh.

That is a cracker Jim, well done mate.
As for the trout, never seen a heather fly here, but there still hard to catch.

Here is one from the Tay when I was up on Saturday - also around the 5lb mark and sea liced. Returned also.

Your a lucky lot!

Its great to see that there is some good to come from that area of the country, that every morning on breakfast telly, has me glad to be South!

Only because of the constant cloud cover according to the 'Cuprinol Man' the weather chap on the BBC!

Fantastic Salmon. I'd love to see one, let alone catch one

Weather not been great here but and its a big but they dont forecast well anyway so you can virtually ignore any forecast given for above callander.I had 3weeks up in the northern highlands this year and the forecast was guff everyday i even got a suntan The mountains do strange things to the weather as it goes through
