Forum social - Grayling on Test/Ichen anyone ??

Hi Fellas

Any of you interested in a Grayling meet on the Test or Itchen 3 or 4th october did the same last year and had a brilliant day... dependant on what folks want we could do it for as little as 19 pounds per person

Timsbury fishing is on the list ... you get beats 5 and 6 on the grayling ticket, with the carriers that equates to around 3 miles of bank

i was looking at lower itchen fishery too... that would be more expensive though, lets see what the response is like and what folks want to pay...

Very interested in this. Either venue, I know both well, particularly the Lower Itchen Fishery (but from a "trotting double maggot" point of view! ).

Would love to fly fish it!

Of the two, the Itchen has a far bigger head of grayling covering many different year classes from ounces to in excess of 3lbs. My best is 3-04. Depends which beats would be open to us but overall it is a superb fishery and a "bigger" river than the Timsbury set up.
