Default Leeda Profil Convert LH to RH

Can anybody give me instructions on converting the drag on a Leeda Profil fly reel from left hand to right hand

Can't help - at least not yet.

If no-one shows up who knows, then a couple of nice clear photographs of the innards of the reel might help.

I've only met two basic methods on modern reels.

Thanks for the reply DownStream.


I figured it out... You take out the clutch bearing [part #15 on the reel diagram supplied], flip it over and reseat it. This will convert the drag from left hand to right...

Cool - that's the common method - find the one-way bearing and flip it over.

What do you think of it as a reel? - I had a very quick look at one and thought it looked very good value.

Used it to day for the first time.

In my opinion: a very good, solid built reel which has a super smooth disc drag.
