Default bransford or lenches?

Thinking about trying one of these on monday, never been to either.
Which would you suggest for a relative novice?
Went to draycote last weekend but was a bit daunted by the size (fishing from the bank) and find the wind a bit tricky so far.
Thank's
Gus

I've not fished the Lenches but Bransford is a good venue for a novice - quite small, but a nice setting and you're more or less guaranteed to catch (I may be the only person ever to blank there ).

The Lenches is good for novices too www.lencheslakes.co.uk. Very friendly people will give good advice.

During the summer can be difficult, but now it's getting a bit cooler, the fish will liven up.

regards,

Doc

Lenches not fishing well at the moment, no-one caught yesterday and not much coming out the day before either.

At Bransford..........if you're really struggling black or orange lures work really well , I was there last week , finally gave into the lures and caught my limit within 20 minutes.

good luck and enjoy

ps. Ask Ron ( the owner ) he'll always give help and advice

Bransford is great if you are short of time! If after a few trips you fancy a bit more of a challlenge there is Broadoak Trout Lakes in Welland. Nice place with a cracking fishing lodge and some good gear for sale.

SF

Ps Neil, how did you manage to blank, was it frozen over?!?
