ok i know it not to do ith fishing, well it is sort of,any recomendations on a digital camera to take some nice snaps of fish etc, preferably under£150.

If our father had had his say, nobody who did not know how to catch a fish would be allowed to disgrace a fish by catching him.

cheers walker,cracking photos btw.

Christ's disciples being fishermen, and we were left to assume, as my brother and I did, that all first-class fishermen on the Sea of Galilee were fly fishermen and that John, the favorite, was a dry-fly fisherman.

Any half decent, reasonable resolution, simple to operate, point and shoot digi camera will do, a decent optical zoom is needed with a macro for flies, insects and close ups.
Personally, get one for approx. £50 with a 12 month warranty, it will do. At the end of its life, less than the warranty, claim on the warranty and get a replacement or an even better
one at the same cost,.................................. ad infinitum

Default Waterproof

I have had both Pentax and Olympus waterproof cameras, they are both great, and Ideal for anglers.normal digi cameras are not fond of any moisture. All photos you have seen on here are from olympus Mu 770wp or pentax W10wp.I really recommend waterproof cameras for anglers.
but I would love the option of a viewfinder.

I recently bought a Panasonic Lumix FS62 , 10 mega pixels , 4x zoom and a wee tripod all for £140.
This was the outcome of the photos
