I haven't received my subscription copy as yet.

Would Cuckoo fit?

I had though of this but other searches seem to indicate that the CUCKOO is spotted not barred, unless yet another T&S error !!! but the other search could also be wrong I suppose.

But thanx anyway, I'll ponder for a few days

Default Cuckoo

To quote Mike Connor from an old post (31-3-2008) on CFF regarding hackles (I printed off the details):

9 Cuckoo - Black and white bars....

Cuckoo: A white or near white hackle with black transfer bars.
This description comes from The Book Of The Hackle.......Frank Elder

Default T&S Crossword

A week ago I was about to post off my August crossword and instead of writing out the address on the envelope I thought I would make things easy and do a sheet of printed labels (for the next 16 months).

Sat down and completed the crossword last night.

Went to my sheet of postage labels and was about to select the 'September Crossword' label when I noticed the address had changed.

Just wasted a page of labels

You're just far too organised - you need to get out fishing more!

Default Some chance ...

I'd gladly give up being more organised if I could get out more.

Sadly I have to spend more time reading and dreaming about fishing than actually doing it. I must have been bad in a previous life to suffer this torment.

September should be better as I have at least one day on the Monnow and have a few other days scheduled as well (weather permitting)
