Default The Lake of Menteith

Hi guys, quick question for you. I'm away fishing at the Lake of Menteith tomorrow, never fished this water before and given the weather looks like it'll be wet with a bit of a chop I'm hoping I can get some pointers on where the fish seem to be at the moment and some potential hotspots or tips before I head out? thanks a lot

Talk to Douglas or Quint, they will tell you what is fishing and where .You can get a small leaflet at the weighin area of the lodge,It has a good map in it.Or you could go to the lakes website for a map.and last weeks fishing reports.

Dry fly with hoppers and heather fly imatations have been working well. All over the lake but cages bay(gateside bay) has had big falls.
