Wondered if anyone from my area is also on this forum, I live in the Salisbury area and regularly fish John o'Gaunts and Maningford lakes together with the SAC waters although my disability prevents me from walking too far along a bank.
Do any other groups get together to share a days/mornings fishing,advice and chat?

I live in Blandford but fish Manningford on occasion, I have mainly been fishing the Avon on Salisbury Plain this year.

I belong to a Fly Dressing group in Wimbourne if you are interested. The tie on a Tuesday evening through the winter and then meet and fish in the summer.

Hi Jim, and thanks for the info.
I have to be honest and say fly tying is not for me, hands and fingers not too good, nor is the eyesight, but love to fish as and when the mood takes me.
Hopefully out this weekend to Manningford and will be there again in September when there is a charity day for the Salisbury hospice.
