Default Scottish fff day out september

SCOTTISH September FFF Day OUT

Hi Folks, As some of you know all ready i have been asked to take over from Stef on organising the forums days out which i have already done August so here we go for September as said in previous posts we will rotate the outings so every one will get a chance to fish a venue in their part of the World ie

September North
October East
November South
December West
January Central Belt

This is just an example folks but you should no where i am coming from. Who's ever turn it is they can pm me with suggestions on a possible venue that can accommodate 15-20+ anglers then i will pick one and try and get a date for that outing. This Way there will be no need for the members to have ie 10 venues to choose from, a venue will be picked and that's it. BUT IF MEMBERS PREFER THE OLD WAY THATS FINE WITH ME. Just thought this way would be a lot quicker organising an outing

Septembers outing will be at ALDERNEUK in the SW as a lot of members mentioned this venue in August post.

Date for this outing will be Sunday 27th September

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN MAKE THIS OUTING
Then i will draw up a list of Members going
Would welcome any feed back regarding this post thanks again Jim

Smile Day out

Hi folks, This outing is not booked yet i am going of the response from the posts of Augusts day out, at the moment its just penciled in for that date if we don't get a good response i will change the venue easy as that, but this is what this venue has to offer.

£20 including Lunch

1fish catch and release may go to 2 fish

these fish are 3lb+ up 7lb
Average size 4lb

Stocked Fish

Rainbows
Blues
Browns
Tiger

If members can catch 4lb fish all day i don't think you will be disappointed. You can look at some of the reports some of the guys have put up on the forum just go to search bar and pencil in Alderneuk,I will leave this post open for one week and if there is not enough response i will change the venue that will give us enough time to arrange another venue thanks Jim

is £20 to steep for one fish then C&R plus a meal,
For fishing for grade A Bows, tiger trout, and broonies,
that dont come in, like a wet sack,
I think you Anglers in the central built have been spoiled by prices,
But i think that may change next season, when some will up their prices,
If you think one fish and C&R and a meal at £20 is too expensive for a days fishing,
What do you, think you should pay.

Do Anglers expect their sport to be cheap?
If you played golf, Or took out a season ticket for a top football club.
how much would that cost,
Fishery owners have to make a living, then speak to Alex cairnie
of Harelaw he will tell you, that you wont end up a millionare,
I have fished Lochs as a visitor and has cost me £18 i was allowed four fish, that i did not want, and there was no C&R.
