Question Di 7/8 lines

I have used airflo Di 7 /8s for a few years. But the last two i've had have been ridiculous for tangles (i know they do this anyway, but i mean stupid!) and have really p****d me off at times.
My question is, does anyone else do a Di 8, and what do you think is the best Di 7/8 on the market? Have you used one you are really impressed with?

Many Thanks

(PS do any of the tackle dealers on here sell one they could recommend?)

Use a line tray if on the bank or have a washing up bowl with a few inches of water in it if in the boat.

The initials DI stand for "Density Index" and is used only by Airflo and I believe is a registered trade mark for their range of sinking lines. A DI 5 line sinks at 5 inces per second and a DI 7 line sinks at 7 inches per second.

There is no alternative producer of DI lines.

Are you sure it stands for Density Index? I had always thought it was Density Intensified.

A quick web search would seem to say the same.

DI is an abreviation of Density Impregnated.

The coating of the line is impregnated with microscopic filaments of tungsten, the density of such giving it's stated rating.
