Default d.a.m. flechenberger fly rod

Please help! I have a chance to purchase a D.A.M. Flechenber 3 piece bamboo fly rod Model 8411. The guy who has it has contacted me by phone and has told me that it is possibly a WWII era German rod and that the two bottom guides are silver colored with red in the center. He did not tell me the length only that it had clear rod varnish. Can anyone tell me any more about this rod??? He may want more than it is worth and not knowing anything about this brand I would like some more info. Thanks in advance for any help!!! Bob

All I can suggest is that the rings mentioned were probably lined with agatine, a substitute for agate, which was common at one time for both stripping rings and tip rings.TC
