Default A Must Read BOOK for All Anglers!!!

Hi All,

Yesterday morning I received (by Post) a copy of a book Id ordered the previous day, "that's what I call quick delivery" I unwrapped the book and began to read the preface, followed by a further 17, pages of the book; and only that the Memsahib was nagging me to take her shopping, I think I would have just sat there and read the whole book in one go, excuse the pun, but I was well and truly HOOKED!

The Book is : The Angle of The Cast - By Gwilym Hughes

Believe me fellow Anglers, this book is a must read! There is something for everyone within It's pages, it's a book full of skillful knowledge, it's entertaining, witty, funny and full of heart warming nostalgia. Most of us fly anglers will relate to many of the stories he's written within it's pages; and it's also educational to anglers of all ages! I'm now half way through the book and reluctant to stop reading for a while; but I must as there are other things around the house that need my attention!

I would have loved a book like this, when I began fly fishing, what a help it would have been; but I'm still learning so I'm sure I shall read this book many times over!

I purchased : The Angle of the Cast, directly from Gwilym Hughes through his Email : ghughes2@btinternet.com the book was £15 + £5,post = £20, Worth every penny!

Have a look at the web-site - www.gwilymHughes.com

I received a signed copy!

Simply a superb book, really enjoying it.
A good mixture of modern social history, fishing gems of wisdom( the salmon part has been reread already),all in a well written form.

I'll echo the compliments on here. Received my copy recently... nicely leatherbound. It is a really good read... the story of a proper fisherman, and a collection of excellent insights into technique and method. It's wierd reading a book by someone you've met and fished with and I am only part way through it, but reading it through is like having the guy sat next to you on the river bank telling you his stories... great fun
