HI Guys
What is the prefered method for fishing snatchers. Would they be better fished with a figure of eight or pulled back normal wet fly style?

Also, the snachers in the shop seem very stiff with little movement, as compared to an article I read some time back which advised striping 1 side of the hackle before palmaring. Which is the best?

I find they twist the leader like a ******* if you pull them like a 'normal' wet.

Off-set points are the problem. Use Tiemco's, they're straight.

Snatchers......? bollox, what can they do that a slimly dressed palmered wet fly wont.If I want to imitate buzzers, I use buzzers.If I want to pull, I use wet flies. No need for them.

i must disagree after watchng hopper68 hammer harelaw for 2 weeks with them....snatchers do have a use, if you know how to use them...
