Default Orvis Tippet knot used for droppers

hey there everyone,

Just wondering if anyone used this knot for droppers, and what they think of it compared to Uni, water turn knots.

My own tested using 014 stroft, seems like its a supa cool knot.

Cheers

Unless it offers some distinct advantage over the water knot I think I will be sticking with that knot.It has the same number of movement to make it as the water knot.
It looks like a variation of a timber hitch.

Hi All
I've not tried that one though I will do.
I always use the "Orvis Knot", found on the same link, for attaching the fly. Once leaned it is easy to tie and very strong.
Cheers
