After reading the thread today about the young lad catching his first monster trout .....

Monster Fish from Orkney Loch

I felt obliged to share similar pictures from many many moons ago when I was 6, the first time my dad took me fishing, hooked ever since!!!

Amazing, i think i caught my first trout at Drummond when i was about the same age
What i also remember is my mum smuggling fish out in the fold of a deck chair
Happy days indeed, she has been in prison ever since

haha i remember my dad saying something similar as you had to pay for your fish by the Lb

Aye buzz, my mates used to smuggle bows out of Drummond's too.

£4 to get in £50 to get out.
