Default Grommit

Not sure if it's appropriate here (I'm not allowed to place a post in the Trade Classified section), and having seen a deserved post re The Pirate, I'd like to mention Grommit. I've made my first, second and third purchases from Grommit in the past week or 2, and cannot recall ever having had better advice, service and value from a retailer! All items discussed through this forum, ordered and delivered next day. Great stuff!

Del.

Del, if you hadnt yet realised it; Grommit manages to snare many of us into becoming repeat customers.

His bait is that rare lure that many retailers fail to offer nowadays. It is called 'customer care'!

Grommit has many different shades of this lure and displays them all with equal aplomb; 'personal touch' , 'aftersales care' , 'advice' and that most appreciated of ensnaring and killer lures 'Discount'

Cheers Grommit

Thumbs down

Boring, boring, boring

I am sick of hearing about this Grommit. He has really taken the fun out of buying anything. No need to search around for days trying to find the best price, then another couple of hours trying to find reviews of the tackle shop. Then days and days desperatley waiting for the delivery to arrive.

Just where is the fun in not having to send several emails and make numerous phone calls, all of increasing irateness.

Just because he offers the cheapest price, best customer service, great advise, guantees next day delivery (free), accepts all method of payments, nearly always has the stock in (if not bores you even more with an instant response telling you when he can get you one by), etc etc people think they have to use his shop.

The deal is done with one email how boring is that, well not for me I will only buy in future from Nigerean based shops offering no contact details at all.

Ian you're a top bloke and deserve all the praise you get.
