Default Where to take the wife

Hi I was wondering if some one could offer a couple of suggestions of where I could take the wife fishing as she and I have a day to ourselves as the kids will be away all day Monday 10th Aug, but not to far in case we are wanted as they will be at a play area. My wife has not tried fly fishing yet so I thought of take her somewhere so she could try fly fishing and if she did not like it bait fish so it would not spoil her day as she let's me go fishing when I want to and also it has to be not to dear. I have a season ticket for the River Derwent up near Shotley Bridge but they do not allow bait fishing.
Cheers
Andy

Well we did not go fishing as when we got up it was raining she could not find her waterproofs, no-one could look after the kids later on so we went shoping or I should say she went shoping and I tagged along, and then went to play ten-pin bowling and then more shoping.
