Default fishing clubs in central scotland

Looking into this for next season, been fishing for 20+ years but never fished with a club, i know of larbert and stenhousemuir ac and bonnybridge ac, both have private waters aswell.

Anyone else on here in clubs in this area, any help appreciated.

www.l-a-c.co.uk

here is current details for millhall.

Millhall Reservoir

Millhall Fishery is located near junction 4 of the M9 between Grangemouth and Bo`ness, close to the village of Polmont. It consists of 8 acres of superbly stocked water, surrounded by natural woodland. There is ample parking space for all anglers, with disabled parking close to the jetty.

It is bank and boat fly fishing and the water is stocked primarily with fully finned hard fighting rainbow trout and a few golden trout. There is also a resident head of wild brown trout. The average rainbow caught at Millhall exceeds 2lb and double figure trout up to 15lb in weight are regularly.

The reservoir is the home of Avonbank Fishing Club and is currently administrated solely by the serving committee of the club. The season starts Saturday 4th March and ends Sunday 5th Nov.

For further information, bookings and permits please contact...

Avonbank Fishing Club, Millhall Reservoir, Old Polmont, Falkirk, Central Scotland.

Telephone: 01324-714190

Avonbank Fishing Club's own website has a great deal more information including rules of
the water, competitions, biggest fish, facilities for disabled anglers, picture galleries and more.

jr,
millhall only recently became angling club water, was previously private ownership. same applies to linlithgow ac only recently acquired rights to river avon. linlithgow loch is still in the hands of the forth federation of anglers but managed on dailly basis by linlithgow ac.

bert.

Default Bonnybridge

Club Secretary,Jimmy McGhee - 01324 815178
admission to the club is £70 per year with a £10 joining fee which gets you 7 turns on the rota, other days can be purchased at £10 rod/day,bearing in mind the type of stock the loch holds, this is value which can`t be beaten anywhere id say.
