I used it for spinning for Salmon for a few years.then moved onto braid, before I stopped spinning
It was reliable.
I doubt I would use it for fly leaders.

Sorry, I was thinking of Berkly Vanish-The Transitions version.

Stren, great spinning or big game line but too stiff for a leader. I used 17lb yellow or clear (actually blue) on my multiplier with a Maxima trace and still use it on fixed spools in 14lb but have changed to braid for my multiplier as I can get over 200 yards of 30lb on an Abu 5601.

In the lighter breaking strains I use Berkley Trilene for spinning.

Hi Jim, The Transitions, is that the sort of golden coloured Vanish, a friend has just brought me 250mtrs. as a gift from America, I should have shown you it last Friday at the Lake. Is it not very good for leaders? Supposed to be nearly invisible in water!!! as you know, I need all the help I can get.
Billy.
