Default Help? Petrol on my lines

I have two lines Rio Midge and DI3 Sixth Sense which are smelling strongly of petrol. I was using the lines in boat at Brenig. Have washed in Fairy Liquid but to no avail, still stinking. Are they done for? Any other cleaning tips?

Default

washing up liquid , a good scrub and lots of water to rinse..., pvc is somewhat resistant to petrol, however if there is any benzene contamination it will caise the line to swell and distort
